Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Judith And Holofernes by Pier Francesco di Jacopo Foschi. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,516.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pier Francesco di Jacopo Foschi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Die Bezahlung der Arbeiter im Weinberg des Herrn, sog. Parabel der Arbeiter im Weinberg. in July 2015 with an auction result of EUR 212,500.00.

Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Judith And Holofernes von Pier Francesco di Jacopo Foschi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.516,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
