A top price for Pia Pizzo - as previously expected
The work Prima Dell’Inizio by Pia Pizzo was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,935.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Prima Dell’Inizio is the most expensive artwork by Pia Pizzo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Prima Dell’Inizio von Pia Pizzo wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.935,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Prima Dell’Inizio das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pia Pizzo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
