Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work High Trinity by Phillip Martin was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Phillip Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A New World In A New Mind (Triptych), which sold at auction in March 2006 for AUD 8,365.00 (€ 4,937.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit High Trinity von Phillip Martin wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Phillip Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A New World In A New Mind (Triptych) beobachtet, die im März 2006 für AUD 8.365,00 (€ 4.937,41) versteigert wurde.
