This artwork by Philippe Hosiasson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists auction, the work Portrait composition sold for GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,242.29) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Hosiasson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in July 2010 for EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philippe Hosiasson erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists wurde die Arbeit Portrait composition für GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.242,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Hosiasson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im Juli 2010 für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
