Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'Epicurienne by Philippe Hiquily was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 81,900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Hiquily - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006, which sold at auction in July 2021 for EUR 273,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Epicurienne von Philippe Hiquily kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 81.900,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Hiquily mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006 beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für EUR 273.000,00 versteigert wurde.
