Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Femme de l'Estoril - 1967 by Philippe Hiquily. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 131,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Hiquily - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006, which sold at auction in July 2021 for EUR 273,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme de l'Estoril - 1967 von Philippe Hiquily zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 131.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Hiquily mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006 beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für EUR 273.000,00 versteigert wurde.
