Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Artcurial in Monte-Carlo held the auction Monaco Sculptures, which included the work La Grande Échassière - 1997-2010 by Philippe Hiquily. The price achieved of EUR 36,736.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philippe Hiquily have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006 in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 273,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Monte-Carlo die Auktion Monaco Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Grande Échassière - 1997-2010 von Philippe Hiquily zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.736,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Hiquily auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006 im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 273.000,00.
