Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Artcurial in Monte-Carlo held the auction Monaco Sculptures, which included the work Girouette - 1969/2004-09 by Philippe Hiquily. The price achieved of EUR 104,960.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Hiquily - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006, which sold at auction in July 2021 for EUR 273,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Monte-Carlo die Auktion Monaco Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girouette - 1969/2004-09 von Philippe Hiquily zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 104.960,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Hiquily mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Sevillane (Femme Lune) - 2006 beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für EUR 273.000,00 versteigert wurde.
