Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piazza Colonna, Rome by Philippe Benoist was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in September last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 984.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Benoist - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La cour de l'Octogone du Vatican à Rome, which sold at auction in March 2015 for EUR 2,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Piazza Colonna, Rome von Philippe Benoist kam im September letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 984,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Benoist mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La cour de l'Octogone du Vatican à Rome beobachtet, die im März 2015 für EUR 2.750,00 versteigert wurde.
