Despite a disappointment, a good price for Philip Rantzer
In December 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Couple by Philip Rantzer for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,501.52). This price was achieved in the auction Israeli & International Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Couple is the most expensive artwork by Philip Rantzer that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Dezember 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Couple von Philip Rantzer für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.501,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
