Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Potato pickers in a field by Philip Sadée was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,477.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Sadée achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The arrival of the fleet: fisher-folk on the beach in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 180,250.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.477,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
