Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction More, which included the work Sans Titre - 2010 by Phil Frost. The price achieved of EUR 975.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Phil Frost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thunderwhisper in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 87,370.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion More durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2010 von Phil Frost zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 975,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Phil Frost erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thunderwhisper im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 87.370,63).
