Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pham Thuc Chuong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. In the Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu auction, the work Jeunes femmes sold for HKD 201,600.00 (€ 22,835.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pham Thuc Chuong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Deer sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 41,086.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pham Thuc Chuong erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu wurde die Arbeit Jeunes femmes für HKD 201.600,00 (€ 22.835,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pham Thuc Chuong; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Deer im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 41.086,29).
