Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Lejon med blå kub" by Pär Gunnar Thelander was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,696.07). Admittedly, works by Pär Gunnar Thelander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Herr Dubuffet med familj" in May 2018 with an auction result of SEK 360,000.00 (€ 34,951.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Lejon med blå kub" von Pär Gunnar Thelander im Juni 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.696,07) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pär Gunnar Thelander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Herr Dubuffet med familj" im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 360.000,00 (€ 34.951,16).
