Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 3,840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Petrus Paulus Schiedges have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset over the beach of Scheveningen, with the Badhuis and the Paviljoen von Wied in the foreground in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 20,315.00.
