A top price for Petr Tarasovich Maltsev - as previously expected
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art of the Soviet Union, which included the work Arriving Home by Petr Tarasovich Maltsev. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,804.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Arriving Home is the most expensive artwork by Petr Tarasovich Maltsev that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Art of the Soviet Union durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arriving Home von Petr Tarasovich Maltsev zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.804,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Arriving Home das teuerste Kunstwerk von Petr Tarasovich Maltsev, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
