In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Florida Circuit by Peter Williams for USD 1,512.00 (€ 1,290.32). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram R. Firestone at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Peter Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Churchill Downs in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,913.98).
