In May 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Kalaset" (The party) by Peter Weiss. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,146.96), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Weiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Självporträtt i Carabietta" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 190,000.00 (€ 17,911.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Kalaset" (The party) von Peter Weiss zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.146,96) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Weiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Självporträtt i Carabietta" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 190.000,00 (€ 17.911,02).
