In the Old Master Picures auction, the work A Dead Hare And Pheasant With Partridge, Woodcock And Songbirds In A Landscape sold for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,235.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter von Bemmel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zwei Landschaften: Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 10,080.00.
