Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape And Hide by Peter Unsworth for GBP 168.00 (€ 246.81). This price was achieved in the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Unsworth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Leaving the Dinosaur Park, circa 1978, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 597.50 (€ 894.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape And Hide von Peter Unsworth für GBP 168,00 (€ 246,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Unsworth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Leaving the Dinosaur Park, circa 1978 beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 597,50 (€ 894,40) versteigert wurde.
