Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work VIII Dots by Peter Struycken was sold in the Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Struycken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit VIII Dots von Peter Struycken wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Struycken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
