Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch Composition by Peter Struycken was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in July 2009. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Struycken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch Composition von Peter Struycken wurde im Juli 2009 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Struycken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
