Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Molda, 2005-2006 by Peter Stämpfli. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,188.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Stämpfli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sport, 1966 in December 2009 with an auction result of EUR 121,980.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Molda, 2005-2006 von Peter Stämpfli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.188,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Stämpfli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sport, 1966 im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 121.980,00.
