This artwork by Peter Stämpfli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in June 2013. In the Contemporary Art 2 — « Lumières et Géométries » auction, the work Arvor, 1985 sold for EUR 43,927.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Stämpfli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sport, 1966, which sold at auction in December 2009 for EUR 121,980.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Stämpfli erzielte im Juni 2013 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 — « Lumières et Géométries » wurde die Arbeit Arvor, 1985 für EUR 43.927,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Stämpfli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sport, 1966 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für EUR 121.980,00 versteigert wurde.
