A top price for Peter Randall-Page - as previously expected
The work Green Fuse by Peter Randall-Page was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 76,314.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Green Fuse is the most expensive artwork by Peter Randall-Page that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Green Fuse von Peter Randall-Page kam im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 76.314,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Green Fuse das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peter Randall-Page, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
