Auction result fails to reach estimate
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with persons and cows in a forest clearing by Peter Johann Raadsig for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.46). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 5,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Johann Raadsig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View from Subiaco, Italy in June this year with an auction result of DKK 130,000.00 (€ 17,452.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with persons and cows in a forest clearing von Peter Johann Raadsig für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Johann Raadsig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View from Subiaco, Italy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 130.000,00 (€ 17.452,38).
