In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work Lords of the glen by Peter Munro. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,100.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Peter Munro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2000 the work Two springer spaniels on a moor was auctioned for GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,793.78).

Im November 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lords of the glen von Peter Munro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.100,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Munro konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Two springer spaniels on a moor für GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.793,78) versteigert.
