Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Selling fish on the shore by Peter Johann Raadsig. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,702.52). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Johann Raadsig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View from Subiaco, Italy, which sold at auction in June this year for DKK 130,000.00 (€ 17,452.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selling fish on the shore von Peter Johann Raadsig zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.702,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Johann Raadsig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View from Subiaco, Italy beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für DKK 130.000,00 (€ 17.452,38) versteigert wurde.
