Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head Study by Peter Howson was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 733.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Howson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Three Faces Of Eve, A Triptych in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 300,500.00 (€ 382,249.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Head Study von Peter Howson kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 733,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Howson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Three Faces Of Eve, A Triptych im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.500,00 (€ 382.249,13).
