It achieved a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,992.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Admittedly, works by Peter Brookes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ‘Retire? Pah! Sir Alex Schmalex...’ in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,250.76).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.992,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Brookes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ‘Retire? Pah!
