Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Drawing (Landscape) by Peter Booth was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2005. The price achieved of AUD 2,390.00 (€ 1,498.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Booth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Untitled, 2002 in November 2008 with an auction result of AUD 168,000.00 (€ 86,633.69).

Die Arbeit Drawing (Landscape) von Peter Booth wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.390,00 (€ 1.498,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Booth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Untitled, 2002 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 168.000,00 (€ 86.633,69).
