Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work Mick Jagger, Le Beat Route, 1982, printed later by Peter Anderson. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,176.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Anderson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Madonna, Soho London, 1983, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 3,562.50 (€ 3,955.85).
