Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Saint Dominic; A Female Martyr Saint by Pere Lembrí was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,478.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pere Lembrí - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Coronation of the Virgin, which sold at auction in July 2020 for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 62,742.59).

Die Arbeit Saint Dominic; A Female Martyr Saint von Pere Lembrí kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.478,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Pere Lembrí mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Coronation of the Virgin beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 62.742,59) versteigert wurde.
