In September 2000 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A village grain market, Syria by Percy Robert Craft. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,162.75), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Percy Robert Craft - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Awaiting Their Return, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,075.86).

Im September 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A village grain market, Syria von Percy Robert Craft zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 2.162,75) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Percy Robert Craft mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Awaiting Their Return beobachtet, die im November 2018 für GBP 4.500,00 (€ 5.075,86) versteigert wurde.
