The price achieved of USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,050.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Percy Gray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eucalyptus Grove, Morning in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 74,090.00 (€ 75,172.48).

Die Arbeit Morning Fog Lifting Among Eucalyptus Trees von Percy Gray kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.355,00 (€ 5.050,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Percy Gray erzielen.
