In June this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work The Royal Palace, Stockholm from the lake Saltsjön by Per Wilhelm Cedergren. The auction ended at the price of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 5,942.31), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Royal Palace, Stockholm from the lake Saltsjön is the most expensive artwork by Per Wilhelm Cedergren that we have observed at auctions so far.
