Auction result well in line with expectations
The work River landscape, scene from France by Per Ekström was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,182.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Per Ekström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Royal Palace in Stockholm in December 2016 with an auction result of SEK 170,000.00 (€ 17,737.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit River landscape, scene from France von Per Ekström wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.182,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Per Ekström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Royal Palace in Stockholm im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 170.000,00 (€ 17.737,87).
