Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paris by Pentti Sammallahti was auctioned at Phillips in Paris Auction in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,016.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pentti Sammallahti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Solovki, White Sea, Russia', 1992 in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,896.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paris von Pentti Sammallahti kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Paris Auction zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.016,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pentti Sammallahti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Solovki, White Sea, Russia', 1992 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.896,22).
