The work Waterfalls by Peng Ximing was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,464.05), 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Ximing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Stream in April this year with an auction result of HKD 86,400.00 (€ 88,231.30).

Die Arbeit Waterfalls von Peng Ximing wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.464,05) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Ximing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Stream im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.400,00 (€ 88.231,30).
