Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with Waterfall, 1984 by Peng Ximing for HKD 12,800.00 (€ 1,544.37). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings-The Online sale at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Ximing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Stream in April this year with an auction result of HKD 86,400.00 (€ 88,231.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with Waterfall, 1984 von Peng Ximing für HKD 12.800,00 (€ 1.544,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Ximing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Stream im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.400,00 (€ 88.231,30).
