This artwork by Peng Ximing achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Scholar Traveling In Mountain sold for HKD 46,000.00 (€ 4,278.30) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Ximing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Stream in April this year with an auction result of HKD 86,400.00 (€ 88,231.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peng Ximing erzielte im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Scholar Traveling In Mountain für HKD 46.000,00 (€ 4.278,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 16.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Ximing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Stream im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.400,00 (€ 88.231,30).
