Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Mount Emei After Rain by Peng Ximing. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,812.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Ximing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Stream in April this year with an auction result of HKD 86,400.00 (€ 88,231.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mount Emei After Rain von Peng Ximing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.812,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Ximing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Stream im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.400,00 (€ 88.231,30).
