Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Verdure Trace No.2 by Peng Kang-Long was sold in the Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,268.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Peng Kang-Long have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flame Of Dance in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,920.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Verdure Trace No.2 von Peng Kang-Long wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.268,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Kang-Long auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flame Of Dance im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.920,10).
