Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2001 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Leonora, el gato y sus tristezas by Pedro Pablo Oliva. The price achieved of USD 16,450.00 (€ 19,455.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Pedro Pablo Oliva have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work without title was auctioned for USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Leonora, el gato y sus tristezas von Pedro Pablo Oliva zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.450,00 (€ 19.455,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pedro Pablo Oliva konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.770,69) versteigert.
