Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Retrato by Pedro Pablo Oliva was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,448.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pedro Pablo Oliva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).
