Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Mrs. Marylou Whitney, Seated-Half-Length, Surrounded By Interiors Of The Palace Of The Chaves Mendoza, Trujillo by Pedro Leitao was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 325.00 (€ 392.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pedro Leitao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elsa Schiaparelli in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Mrs. Marylou Whitney, Seated-Half-Length, Surrounded By Interiors Of The Palace Of The Chaves Mendoza, Trujillo von Pedro Leitao kam im Januar 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
