Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Bronze portrait of Ruth Raymond Carhart by Paolo Troubetzkoy was sold in the The Russian Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,083.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Troubetzkoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 132,971.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Bronze portrait of Ruth Raymond Carhart von Paolo Troubetzkoy wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 6.083,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Troubetzkoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 132.971,96).
