Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bronco Buster by Paolo Troubetzkoy was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,100.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Troubetzkoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 132,971.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bronco Buster von Paolo Troubetzkoy kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.100,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Troubetzkoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 132.971,96).
