This artwork by Pavel Pepperstein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in June this year. In the Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2082 auction, the work Sans titre (objects above the sea) sold for EUR 16,640.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavel Pepperstein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Heads Of Eagle 2, which sold at auction in November 2014 for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 66,006.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 85 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pavel Pepperstein erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2082 wurde die Arbeit Sans titre (objects above the sea) für EUR 16.640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavel Pepperstein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Heads Of Eagle 2 beobachtet, die im November 2014 für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 66.006,99) versteigert wurde.
