This work without title by Pavel Filonov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pavel Filonov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration of The Magi in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 904,000.00 (€ 1,342,468.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pavel Filonov kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pavel Filonov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Adoration of The Magi im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 904.000,00 (€ 1.342.468,29).
